I got a message on my cell saying she was a secret admirer and she got my number from a friend. How do you respond to an unlisted number? Has this ever happened to you?

Sounds kinda creepy.... I would be pissed, if someone gave a stranger my phone number without my permission...

Just to answer your questions -- no more, no less.. Has it ever happened to me..?? Yes......... I get em (unlisted/private) calls from "secret admiriers", enemys, competition, scammers, sales agents, tele-marketers, etc.. How do I respond..?? It IS my job, skill, forte, and "what I do/did to be able to retrieve/get/obtain/trace/find/acquire and identify such "numbers"... I NEVER answer my phone, email, access, sites, etc. without knowing PRIOR just who or what has sent, called, etc.. There is/are numerous devices, software, (some I developed myself) apps (application scripts- some free, some for purchase for various "smart phones"), and other "means" available for anyone wishing to maintain the integrity of their privacy. ---SoldierByte--- P.S. "messages" (sms, mms, pif, txt, etc...) are the easiest to "trace"..

I received anonymous flowers once from a secret admirer. It was nice but to be honest it did my head in a bit. Who was it? The guy in my bank? The guy who cut my hair? The guy I'd just spoken to on the phone the day before? My friends swore it wasn't them and I never found out who sent them. I suspect that because I wasn't single, whoever sent them may have lost their nerve in the end.

o-k.. O-K.. It was me.... I'm just to shy and timid... Did you like em..?? They cost me a pretty penny.. and that's not counting shipping.. But heck.. it's just the kind of truthful, honest, sincere, and "up front" kind of guy I am... ---SoldierByte---
