Believe in Astrological Compatibility? (39)
golden_eyes71: I was just wondering if any of you believe in Astrological Compatibility. Wondering if you believe if your relationships you have with others is defined by your birth sign and the stars.
From some reading and past experiences, I would have to say, there is something to this astrological sign business!!

Using sunsign astrology is not only inaccurate but foolhardy. Astrology done properly is very complex and involves for more than just where the sun (your sunsign) was at your time of birth. It involves where all the other planets are as well and rising signs, nodes, progressions, blah blah blah.
Again, another general use of astrology is done in matching the female venus position with the man's mars position (hence the book Women Are From Venus / Men are From Mars) but this too ignores a myriad of other factors.
Biorhythm matching is easier; but in the end if you don't ever learn to intellectually compensate/negotiate for incompatible areas, no matching tool will ever be useful to you; because the best ones you have are intuition and brain power.
