Its a new decade with endless possibilities. I just wanted to come and say goodbye to you all. I met my Mr. Someone here on CS. Other sites are out there, I've tried a few and found the best quality pool of people here. Dont give up hope, I guess that's what I'm trying to relay to you. That is exactly what I was told too after mine abandoned us. He's right. Hold strong, have faith and miracles will show themselves to you when you least expect it to. They did for me today. My Mr. Somebody finally asked me to be his for good.

Hold your head high girl! Single moms rock babe. Even when the going is tough. You can keep your chin high with pride knowing you're doing the best you can to care for your babies on your own and they will appreciate you for it when you're all older. They will help YOU :). My 3 yr old started taking it upon himself to empty the garbages. It all starts with a little responsibility and a lot of love

They sure ought to be. I decided to be a part of the solution rather than add to the problem. Birds are a blessing so to speak. My grey has come so far. He never spoke a single word and was terrified of me when I brought him home. His first owner was female, he was smacked around for being noisy. Children used to poke sticks at him to make him puffy and mad. He dealt with this for nearly a decade. Its taken 6 months for him to trust me. He now wakes me up in the morning by saying Hello. Heeeellloooooo. And says pretty bird, makes kissy noises and water dripping noises until I get out of bed. Then he's like the Warner Brothers frog that used to sing "hello my baby hello my darlin hello my ragtime gal" with the tophat in the box for the master, but when he tried to showcase him he would just sit there like a regular frog and just ribbit LOL

I was sittin here eating a little cornish game hen for dinner. Jack looks down and give me this look as to say "Mommy, How could you!!! . Pets do make us feel more loved when we dont have others (not meaning children they are the ultimate gift of love really) but to give us smooches and hugs. Tell me about your pets if you would care to share. I am considering adopting another abused parrot next year. It has been such a rewarding experience for me in the exotic bird world. I used to foster and rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs back in the earlier part of this decade. I converted to birds last year after not having a dog anymore. :( I still miss her very much.

High Five Girl! I sure hope my Mr. Somebody I met here can heal up inside his heart. People just get pooped on so much that sometimes when something so good is right there in front of them they get scared because they have been so hurt. Heck, arent we all a little scared of getting hurt? But I'd be willing to take the gamble for him. I'd be willing to wait for him if he can do it. He is worth the wait if he can. So in the mean time, I will just hang out with you guys and drink lots of coffee.
