But I am surprised by the high number of people that have met here I have yet to meet anyone from herebut have from POF and it will be almost a year we have stayed in touch everyday we are just friends
so I am still hopeful here

I simply refuse to stay with someone who thinks herself superior to me or a victim of life or a lazy person or having no compation for others or being selfish and uncompromising or spoiled or... Yeah congrats! I actually moved to Ohio to be with my ex...long story short...I'm back in Oklahoma...and not by my will...but I hope it works out for you! :)

I know right I am not on there anymore I love it here more and was fortunate enough to meet someone that help me through a lonely period so you do have to be patient and wait and sift through all the bad apples but it will be so worth the waiting

High Five Girl! I sure hope my Mr. Somebody I met here can heal up inside his heart. People just get pooped on so much that sometimes when something so good is right there in front of them they get scared because they have been so hurt. Heck, arent we all a little scared of getting hurt? But I'd be willing to take the gamble for him. I'd be willing to wait for him if he can do it. He is worth the wait if he can. So in the mean time, I will just hang out with you guys and drink lots of coffee.

After being in contact with someone from here for several months - phone calls, emails etc, he said he would meet me when I was in the UK recently. He lives elsewhere but could get there with less expense than coming to Cyprus. He was the driving force in wanting us to meet up so I thought 'Why not'.
As my visit drew closer I asked him where he was landing and even offered to pick him up at the airport as he said he doesn't hire cars when he's there. No reply.
This is someone who was highly regarded on the forums, at the start of our correspondance I even checked him out with a lady who has already met him and she said he was a very nice man, so why did he string me along? I'll never know.
At the end of the day, you have to meet someone in person to really get to know them, they can be anything they choose over the internet.
If he reads this,you have disappointed me and made me question my own judgement.
