My apologies, it was 9-0. Andy Cole definitely scored five that day though. Oh and i agree about Hargreaves. I just hope he comes back the same player after his injury heals.

Keeneland: I really dont see how Giles can be put ahead of Keane in an Irish Shirt. Giles never got us to a major championship and we under acheived when he played for and managed us. Keane single handed got us to the 2002 World Cup Finals with his displays in the qualifiers.
Giles played 59 times for Ireland with 5 Goals.
Keane pleyed 66 times for Ireland with 9 Goals.
Also on the domestic front Giles won 2 League titles, 2 FA Cups, 1 League Cup and 2 Fairs Cup (UEFA Cup).
Keane won 7 Premier League titles, 4 FA Cups, Champions League, Scottish Premier League and League Cup, Football writers and PFA player of the year 2000 and was inducted to the hall of fame in 2004.
Keane is miles ahead.

I can never see Keane manage Ireland because he hates the FAI even seven years on. The guy holds grudges for a long time. Anyway he'd want to do start winning games at Ipswich before they would even consider him to succeed Trappatoni.

Hargreaves was a joy to watch in the last world cup. He was easily England's best player of that tournament.

I reckon years from now people will be talking about Ryan Giggs in the same vein they are talking about Maradonna and Pele today. The guy is the consumate professional, conducts himself well on and off the pitch, can dribble, pass the ball and score goals. He may not be the most prolific when it comes to goals but for me, he is right up there with the best.
I dont think there can be one for "all time"....there are different eras of football

i think the same about vidic. i think he is sensational but i dont think defenders get half the credit they deserve half the time. i LOVE HIM. and i know he has had a few sending offs but remember the king of football roy keane did the same. UP VIDIC

The guy has been playing first team football for united for the past 19 years. Although he doesn't play as often these days, he has won almost every honour in the game more than once. How many players can you say that about? For me, thats pretty inspirational
