There is about 430,000 people here in Ireland with no jobs, who is thinking about going to Aussie or New Zealand etc to look for a job. I was in Ausie a few weeks ago, and there are many jobs in the big cities.

I'm thinking of heading off if something doesn't happen soon.

In aussie you get nice sun, good temps at this time of the year, and maybe a year would be good to move away. I was in New Zealand for two years, and it was great :)

hhhmmm well first I'd need 3000euro to show I'l be able to support myself while I'm there also i'd need a year long work visa, accomidation and a job ready for me when I got there. If i didn't have any them sorted before arriving in Qz, i'd be refused entry and with the way i'm still stuffed now from my scrumsish christmas dinner reindeer I don't wana think about moving from my bed let alone another Country.

But most people get a loan of the cash, when you get into aussie, you give the cash back to yourr friends... thats what my bro and his friends all did--

they all went over....

Theres a very Simple Hope for a lot of people out there which is sure as hell a superb future for this wee Island and could...(lets change that) ....Will no doubtly Ensure the Island of Eireann will become another UNITED EMERITES .....

Without all the waffall and blah blah, if you think ,..that were using fossil fuels which are not of our making..ie they were made millions of years ago and weve been using resourses that weve borrowed as well as the whole world dunno then it makes sense that an Island in the Geographical position where we are is going to become a DOMINANT NEW LEADER in wind energy...sea energy ...and export our resourses to European countries that are sick to death of being held to ransom by countries that could suddenly cut off There Energy supply ...wow and i was trying to keep this short doh

Im going to bite my foot off now and as its been a really nice day and ive just finished a perfect bottle of wine the only thing i will add is ......DO Not trust the the Irish energy board cough cough their known as "Silly In Egg "..a goverment body that has been Delibretly majorly underfunded and will no doubt be exploited by foreign and global "Investment Companies"as if they havent allready ,(Pretend a average big white wind turbine you see popping up costs ,lets say a million ...a private company with investors would want to see profit within 2 years !!!! I think were offering between 5-10 years pending on the serviceing costs but from a lot of Energy Confrences ive been to and listened to if 5-10 years seems to be OUR SELL OUT point ....WHY NOT invest ourselves bit by bit ??We could just end up ..Friggin Wealthy

My post is not to get people to worry about their expensive energy yearly charges which will be introduced soon as, its been a European directive for years everyone will end up paying individually but to give hope about the riches this Island offers and therfore let people know a direction in which to train for...Mechanical Engeneering....enviroment / construction of passive houses / sea and wind...there i go .....the good times are here and the shoe is BIG time on our foot ..but doh ive seen sooo sooo sooo much energy sell outs in the last 18 months i can forsee Ireland being renamed ..please note ive just deleted 2 other paragraphs as they are too one sided (my real opinion) and my spelling is really bad tonight and im blushing lol...nite nite all

For the first time in 30 years I find myself unemployed, not an easy thing at any age but at my age??? well my kids are teenagers and of course wouldnt want to move anywhere for a start. But are there anymore oppurtunities for middle aged women abroad than there are here?

Am not doing a woe is me, am just curious. I have decided to do something proactive with my time and have gone back to College.

to be perfectly honest with you if i could afford to move i would..i would have been outta here LONG AGO!!!! but the fact that my ex is was and always will be a homebird prevents me from doing so....cos i couldnt for the life of me part him and his kids and thers not a chance of me leaving our kids either....you may aswell rip the heart right out of me...which is what i would be doing to my ex if i moved away with the kids and the kids from him.... so ill just batten down the hatches and scrimp and try to save ha ha!!!! and wait for better days to come
