What makes you the person that you are?
Did your upbringing make you what you are now?
Did life make you what you are now?
Just curiousdunno
Speaking for myself.. I think that my Parents made me the core person that I am..meaning what I learned from them...values..etc...
Life ...did the rest to me...

i do believe its the things we are taught as children and teens by our parents/guardians that make us who we are..values , principals,
beliefs,morals. etc...

I think my parents made me who I am for the most part. But I think there is some nature in there too as I have completely different views/values/opinions on a lot of things to the rest of my family.

Mine too. I wouldn't be half the person i am today without my parents. They taught me there is always someone worse off than yourself and to never give up no matter how hard things get.bouquet

Mine taught me the opposite. There is always someone better than me and that I would end up going nowhere!

Well my mother taught me that.. my dad just loves me as I am.

A combination of the two I think, I would have been a believer of the nurture theory at one time but having raised my son alone since he was 7, I can see traits that are so like his Father in him, sometimes it is as if his Dad is in the room and my son had almost no contact with him for 10 years.

As for me personally how I grew up has had a big influence on the person I am, even if it was just to show me the type of adult I dont want to be.

nobody is born good or bad in my opinion
its the way your treated as a child
and the way your brought up
that has a big bearing on your life as a adult

Hi M......wave

Personally I do think that some people are born bad and some are born good.

'Theres Something about Kevin' anyone.......

I do think genealogy has a big role in who we are. Our upbringing, lifes experiences, influences and peers are also big factors. To me ots a mixture of both.
