tarnsnz: I barely have time to read a magazine these days, nevermind a book

It's a challenge, Tarnsnz. I have said that, until I reminded myself you actually have to set time aside, and then it will happen. Set about making 30min a day for reading, as important as anything other 'must do' task.

I do understand though. wine

Yeah I agree with the above. A lot of friends say they don't have time but I've always said if you can spend 30 mins a day at a gym on superficial stuff, spend 30 mins a day on what really counts, your grey matter. Crosswords, reading, paradox puzzles, anything really.Healthy mind, Healthy body!(and a bit of indulgence)

CassiusBelli: Has anyone read recent book by Victor Spenger? Can't think of the name but it is about quantum mechanics and chaos theory being abused and manipulated by new age quasi-religious groups. They take fundamental aspects of quantum mechanics and twist the interpretations to "prove" their particular scam.It is basically a total misunderstanding of Q.M and Chaos, like Fundamentalists and evolution, they just don't understand simple basic principles of science.

This is how they make Science Fiction and Science Fantasy work.
Can't handle reality so always escape to fantasy. Piers Anthony does a very good job of wrapping up Scientific theories in good old "Dungeon and Dragons" style escapism.

Currently reading "To ride hells chasm" (Fantasy)

Just read a book by Bryce Courtney. Loosely based on actual happenings back in the 12th century. Things that Nursery rhymes today hark back to. And another clear indication of why one should tell the church where they can stick themselves.

(Please Hark the last statement is against the church not religion)
