She gave me an exam.. E40
She said she would extract the tooth a week later after the infection goes away (today)
She said i had to get my teeth cleaned next week (today)
She wrote me a prescription E20
Went to chemist E16 for meds
Today:
She said she would clean my teeth and for me to come back next Monday yet again for the extraction along with a few fillings
Then i asked her why she couldnt do the extraction today, she had no answer for me.
Then i got quite angry because she basically ordered me to get 4 fillings next week, so i basically said no and if i ever do get them i wont be coming to you!
She asked why and i said she was trying to fleece me.

you coudld have gotten the same work done in enniskillen for 60 sterling, would have saved ya over 100 euro even after travel you would have saved a considerable amount, anyway you learn from your mistakes i hope

Ah Rob there are some butchers out there masquerading as dentists.
But thanks for this thread..I was supposed to ring for appointment for my son. He has toothache the past week. Luckily the dentist we use is very good and reasonably priced.
Hope you feel better soon. If the bleeding doesn't stop you might want to get it looked at in case you need a stitch or two.

Well there is a hole twice the size of any tooth there, its still bleeding 5 hours after the removal and the gum is hanging..
The dentist is a German and she is never busy, i can see why

hey rob sorry to hear about your ordeal.. there is nothing worse than a tooth ache... when I got a tooth out it did bleed for a good few hours have to say and then slowed down by evening time.. if ya can try gargle salt and water...
it also cost me 125 for the extraction and 25 for meds
and same it took them about 10 mins to get it out but she had me on very strong pain killers afterwards so wasnt too bad...
if its still bleeding heavily tonight go to your local hospital as ya may need a stitch or 2..
