I don't know much about different types of cameras, but I love taking photos, actually at the moment I'm sorting some of the photos I took last summer and of last month when we had the snow. I was thinking of doing a photography course, it's something that I've been interested in doing for years.

€599 RRP for the camera and kit lens quite reasonable actually. best thing is the size its a new (ish) design to get DSLR-like quality from a way smaller camera. lot of people are put off a DSLR by the bulkiness, i think..

the d in dslr just stands for digital. they're still single lens reflex cameras. if you mean film slr's, then i don't think anyone makes them anymore, but alot of people (myself included) pick up film cameras and lenses second hand wave

Niiiccccceeeee. I like to use an SLR and go to the dark room but If I had the money for a high performance digital camera I'd definitely get an upgrade.

I got a Cannon Rebel XS last year. But it's bulky so more often than not I bring my small and handy Cannon Ixus with me if I need a camera, fits into my pocket nicely.

It's mainly scenery I like to do. Someday when I get some money I'd like to learn how to take great pics and how to make money from them.

bonus with this camera bobbie is you can use almost any old 35mm SLR lenses with this camera with use of the right adapter, useful if you have old lenses, but also as you can pick up high quality old lenses on the used market for a fraction of their modern counterparts
