rkauler: the best nobody ever has anthing bad to say about the Germans
I cannot see why they would. They were so hospitable! They took me into their homes like one of their own. Shared everytihng, taught me their language - essentially adopted me. I will go to my grave loyal to my german family.
My father there worked for Mercedes benz, his brother had a farm. My mother ran the genral store in town ( it was a farm town - very small fewr than 1000 residents) Their kindnesses made a lifetime impression on me - obviously
I use to train dogs for everyone around here at one time.I lost my gunner a few years ago and never got over it.He was the best friend I ever had.he put his life on the line for me more than once.I loved him more than life.

well Belgian Shepherd is how I learned ( I used to work for a veterinarian) German Shepherd's are also good dogs . My family preferred setters tho - probably because ducks & pheasants are what we hunted. And also Coonhounds but not as much
good night sugar, GEt that beauty rest (tho u don't need it )
CrosstownTraffic: Just honesty. other than that i am not going to choose someones elses qualities, cos that could lead to me wanting them to change into something they are not to fit my preconcieved ideas. Better to wait and meet, if the cheistry is there carry on and see what happens next, if it isn't...... on with the show!
that is some how sad crosstown - don't wish to imagine someone - anyone - not wanting you the way that you r now, at this very moment

Well I can only be me at any given moment, same as anyone else, it is a matter of enjoying who you meet for those qualities or not. So there is fantasy and then there is Fantasy. One of them leads to a fall, and the other one involves scantily clad women on flying horses
