The 14-times major champion winner was dumped by sports drink brand Gatorade last week, the third major corporate sponsor to abandon the American since details of his adulterous affairs surfaced late last year.
The Dublin-based company said its initial offer to Woods, who was estimated to have earned $100 million annually in endorsement deals before taking an indefinite break from golf in December, covered a five-year period.
Woods did not set a date for his return to competition when he spoke to media last month for the first time since the scandal over his private life erupted.
Paddy Power lost 1.5 million euros (1.4 million pounds) by paying out to those who had gambled on Woods after just 36 holes of last year's U.S. PGA Championship, which the world No.1 eventually lost to South Korea's Yang Yong-eun.

i would not imagine he turned it down cuz he has so much money, as u said paddy power said they would make an improved offer..so far it seems like he is doing his business well, if they are gonna offer him more...though there is also alot of stigma with taking sponsorship with a gambling company and legal aspects..look what the USA did to the online gambling sites...ladbrokes used be share holders of the hilton group at one time, but before they entered the online market sold there shares due to the fragile nature of the gambling laws in the USA...so i doubt its just a case of i have so much money i dont need 75million...i would say its alot more complex than that..

no im not making excuses for him just saying hes not the only tempesteous golfer out there ..... who cares if he turned down paddy power thats his business .who knows he might not play again .... maybe thats why he declined the offer .

Paddy Powers wouldnt have offered him a deal unless he was going to play again. He will obviously play again, hes not a quitter. He is a disgrace to golf, his family, his fans and most of all the young children and teens than idolised him and used him as their inspiration.. And Powers are going to be offering him more money, maybe 100million.

Thats a different story altogether.
John Daly was beaten by his wife constantly and she cheated on him all the time. John Daly is a nice guy and is trying to sort his life out, dont even try to compare him to Tiger Woods cos there is none.
