Cats are the best
Our little fella was sick over the weekend. Got a virus. Cost me 86 euro at the vet. He's still not the best but getting better. Its like having another baby in the house and he's a real mama's boy
OH cats. Anyone got any idea what I can do with my cat when I move to my new house? Someone told me to put butter on her paws to stop her straying but I think she would take the hand off me if I tried that!

Putting butter on her paws can work but I have found you have to do it a couple of times to work effectively. I dont think she would take the hand off you unless she isnt the type of cat that likes to be held at all.

leave her in the house for a good while, maybe a week (and if she goes missing for a few days check up the chimney, personal experience speaking there). during that let her look out the windows, slowly get her used to her new surroundings. eventually she'll venture outside, but maybe for the 1st few times go with her or hold her while going outside. just a matter of letting her get used to the new surroundings. once she feels more comfortable, things should start to feel as normal
