hey guys. im off to glasgow next weekend. was there last november for 2 nights and loved it. when we went over last time we didnt really know the best pubs to go to. although we had great nights out i dont think we were in the best of pubs over there. just wondering if anyone has been and would recommend some good pubs for us to go to. dunno

when you get to glasgow get the bus to Ibrox

The area around the central train station has some buzzing pubs & the West end of Glasgow is the place to be for trendier pubs . Here is a link with a few ideas, have a nice time :

The west end is probably your best bet. Take the subway to Hillhead Station and right next to it is a bar called Curlers. It looks like a wee house on the outside but it's massive enough when you get in. There's plenty of burger bars, KFCs and the likes there too and the west end pubs would be non sectarian.



This is one of the oldest pubs in Glasgow and would be full of folk the same age as yourself.



As someone said too though, there's plenty good bars around central station.crying crying (Feeling home sick now.)

Hi flick...thought Id pop in and give you a few wee tips....youre probably best to stay in the City Centre cos theres heaps of pubs, clubs and restaurants there....here are a few good fun places to visit and all in the heart of the city...



Social...Royal Exchange Square
The Butterfly & the Pig, Bath St...live music...free entry before 10pm
O'Neills if you feel like a home from home lol...Merchant City
