Yes derry is a lovely city
alot of people in southern ireland have not explored the north fully, It really does have alot to offer, beautiful countryside, nice people and cheaper goods,
now that there is peace we should all come together and enjoy the 6 counties, The unionist brethern are a welcoming bunch

That may be true but many protestants I know are in favour of an end to the british occupation of north east Ireland - and rightly so.
The founders of Irish Republicanism were Belfast protestants after all, it's great that some are returning to the fold.

I like most places in Ireland. I don't think I've ever had a bad weekend away in. But I love Lisdoonvarna when the matchmaking festival is on. It's manic, the car parks are alive with people sleeping in their cars. Toothless ould bucks looking for wife with good child hips. But the craic is mighty.Westport is one of my favourite small towns in Ireland for socialising. Great mix of locals and tourists.
Was in Derry in Jan and loved it. Very friendly people.
Looking forward to Kilkenny for the Cat Laughs Festival on the June Bank hol weekend.
