jimbo79: but most people are here to find someone so you kind of have to be online for that and as irish said just because it says online doesnt mean the person is at the comp, no offence but if you were doing 12 hours then it was you with the issue especially considering this is a singles site and you in a relationship

I for one happen to be one of those freaks that live and breath computers.

Even when I'm away from my main PC, I've the laptop or another machine close to hand to be on the net. Even most of the tv I watch is shows I've downloaded from the U.S., so I see them weeks or months before people here.

I spend way too much of my time on the net, and way too much of my money on PC hardware.

Despite all of the above, my spending ridiculous amounts of my personal time on the net has greatly enhanced my work abilities, i.e. building/repairing PCs.

If my internet connection died in the morning, I'd probably just go straight back to bed til it majically returned.

robpacciani: I was only ever here for the banter Jimbo and i have been here a long time and have never seen anyone i have been chatting to get into a relationship except for 1. You have a better chance of being knocked down than finding "love" here!!!
i had a near 6 month relationship here and it didnt work but you cant blame the site, lots of people have had relationships ,your just talking about the forums which only has a few posters

I only pop in here every now and again , read the forums and if I see something that interests me I post, too much of anything is not good for you and if I was stuck indoors on a computer all day it would not be good for my mental or physical wellbeing, cs can be entertaining but should never be allowed to completely take over anyones life and I was one of the lucky ones,, found a wonderful girl on here and am blissfully happy so yeah it does work..

I was agreeing with you Rob, too much of anything is bad for you, some people have addictive personalities and should be careful of how much time they spend on here,,,,cheers

Ah yes, getting out in the real world can be great. I know some people have said the CS forums are very cliquey... kinda true in a respect. But few years back there was a much bigger and tight knit clique here and when they all fell out the drama was mad. Funny for say someone like me who's on the outside. I loves a bit of drama - I just don't do it myself laugh

Sometimes I log on here though and I read through the forums and I feel I've missed out on a lot of good threads and stuff though. So don't go away completely Rob. Everyone that posts here in my opinion add's a little spice, interest and laughs to the forums.

cheers
