I have just moved to England from Sweden. The people, fashion, restaurants, architecture and the place is like Poland in the 70's. All the English girls are large, and the men seem angry! I thought it was a prosperous country compared to Europe?

Silly question but being only 29 how would you know what Poland was like in the 70's?
And if you are in Brighton as your profile says then Poland must have been way ahead of it's time in the 70's as Brighton is one of the most fun cities in the UK.
theduke1980: On a positive note, there is a nice pub! Perphaps overpriced?
Ah well. I'm sure a man earning between 75k and 100k will find England's Gay town very cheap and satisfying after Sweeden! I hope you can settle outside Trolland!

For a 29 year old you seem to have a lot of knowledge of people fashion and archtecture of 1970s Poland.
