ok here now I am not all about Obama altho I am not against him eather.....but she could mean that his roots are from Kenya...as I am French and Dutch so I could call them my home countries......I really believe that in this day and age if he really did not qualify to be the Pres. of this country someone would have found this out way before he was elected.......can all of you really believe something like this is true.... Now I do not claim to be as smart as most of you people here ....but I personally do not beleive that he should not be Pres. because he was born somewhere besides the States....

there is a law that says that the President of the USA must be natural born in the USA and not an immigrant.
Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution sets the eligibility requirements for serving as President of the United States:
In response to: No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
It means that unless you were born there you cannot be eligible for the office. As Obama has already been elected it will not affect this term.

The state of Hawaii will be lying then because the state has presented a copy of the birth certificate issued by the state of Hawaii when he was born. Isn't Hawaii a state in the United States of America, thus making him American? So the birth certificate presented and displayed to the media by the state of Hawaii is fake if he was born in Kenya. And why is this an issue, only because his father was Keyan? I think Americans should keep themselves busy, worrying about serious matters, rather than something as petty as Obama's place of birth.

I doubt they did to tell the truth. For his entire life it has simply been taken that he was a citizen and, this is the first time that being a 'natural born' citizen has come into play.
So, when and who or, should we just assume it has been. I mean, I thought you did and you thought I did so, if not you or I then who?
