Has anyone had a near death experience, or out of body experience, astral travel, or witnessed or experienced any miracles such as healing or phenomena?
I am just breaking into this field of study, and would love to hear your experiences.

I would recomend meditation and visualizing things you want or results you want to happen, Jesus said if you ask it will be given, to me the way to ask is to visualize, one time last year a woman called me needing a ride to the hospital because her daughter woke up and could not see, I sat in a chair for 10 minutes seeing her daughter perfectly healthy and happy, I called the woman back and her daughter was fine, I didn't tell the woman what I did and the doctors say the girl is healthy.

It's all a load of codswallop. People who are "near death" and are unconscious; anything they "see" is likely nothing more than what one would "see" nightly as dreams.

As for the "bright light" nonsense, it's the same thing as with UFO "sightings" or witch trials hundreds of years ago: people hear stories about it, so they come to expect to see the same things. The mind is more than willing to make up and change things to make perception match expectation.

Interestingly, science, particularly, the holographic model of the universe, seems to indicate that "mind" creates everything we experience in the physical world. It seems to show that mind is expressed and recorded by the brain, not created by it.

You are right, it is exactly what we expect to see that materializes.

How do you explain that when people dream, there are certain record-able brain waves. People that experience NDE are flatlined. Interesting question, worth exploring from a scientific perspective.

referring to the paragraph "As for the bright light...." perhaps this explains all that we see and feel with our five senses - after all, how would you know the difference? Because EVERYONE sees it, then it is real? How about hundreds that see "UFO's" or whatever. Are they real then? Does the number of people that see something make it more or less real? What is reality - the thought that produces it or the physical manifestation? Have we scientifically limited ourselves by assuming that only what can be recorded by the five senses is real? These are things I am exploring

You might want to check out "The Holographic Universe", by Michael Talbot. The research of two very reputable scientists raised some interesting questions....

My reading seems to indicate that all humans have the inherent ability to see beyond the physical realm, and into both the past and the future. Instances are recorded from the beginning of time.

I'm starting to wonder if we as humans are discovering this.

Interestingly, many comments made by Jesus, and authors in the Old Testament seem to touch on all this. I find it a little comical that most of mainstream Christianity will classify this whole idea as of the devil.

My question is, why does anyone think they have to know or have proven to them all that exists in the Mystery? It is wondrous and the more it is allowed to flow without lots of analysis, the more it is experienced. I love the question, Murny! I find the people who doubt everything are the ones who, when they do experience a phenomenon, are the most enthusiastic students from then forward.

If you want something really fun to play with, energy wise, read Matrix Energetics by Richard Bartlett. Look up his vids on Youtube. It is fascinating and amazing as well.

I totally agree with you!
I have been able to experience personal healing from chronic disease - 3 forms, as well as healing some of my pets this way.
I find it interesting that visualizing the object as healthy, rather than begging for healing, seems to be effective.
"If you ask for anything, hold it in your mind (often translated - believe you have received it) and it will be yours." Jesus
This indicates visualizing it is already yours, then it manifests in the physical.
Dr. James Richards of Impact Ministries has documented that by visualization he actually reformed his genetically malformed kidneys. He is now healthy, despite suffering from birth. Even the pics of his kidneys are different.

I think The Work of the Devil has been going on inside the churches by the way and nothing to do with aliens.

I feel intuitive sensing, the way man was really meant to sense things, has been moved away from (sorry, bad English!), and the focus is more on the physical and trying to manipulate things from that realm by force. Some even argue this has been done intentionally through the media, scientific dogma, pharmaceuticals, food additives, and innoculations. Interesting theory, as physical input can affect the mind.

"We don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but against powers in high places" the Bible. Taken in context, this is speaking of thought or ways of viewing things.

To answer your question, I am quite analytical, and love to find an explanation in Science for anything. However, I also trust my 'knowing' and when it has been challenged by the "scientific" community, am always thrilled when a certain physics law, for instance, seems to substantiate it. My being able to explain something doesn't take away from the wonder of it at all.

Personally, I think knowledge may be infinite, given the nature of the universe that seems to be unfolding through discovery.

Why do you think ufo's are of the devil? I am really curious to know. I guess I never viewed them as trying to replace God in any way.
By the way, there are more and more people that are consdiering that these manifestations may not really be from another planet at all, but are possibly technology that the general public is not aware of.
Other schools of thought think they may just be from another dimension. This wouldn't be too threatening to one who believes God can show the future, or that people can have near death experiences, I wouldn't think.
You believe God created the world and universe, right? Would it not stand to reason that he also created the laws that govern it? Would it also be reasonable that if we discover something foreign to our view of how the world works, that it would have also been established by the Creator, but we just now saw it?
I am not attacking you - I would really be curious to understand your point of view.

My question was more for the "rational" ones. I know you enjoy learning as a way of growth and expansion. I do too! I have had so much help from so many different resources.

I am empathic as well. I do think you would like Matrix Energetics. It works with exactly what you have written. It is about working with morphic fields and seeing things as whole, not seeing anything as less than perfect. It references quantum physics and holographic imagery.

The issue is not whether everything can be known or whether things even need to be known.

What is at issue is people pretending to have the answers, usually in an attempt to make money. People who believe in this malarky are gullible and willing to waste money on it as books, audio recordings or "workshops" and other bunk.

If you didn't read it or don't recall, after Ray Wallace died, his family admitted that the "bigfoot film" was a fraud, that Wallace knew it was a man in a gorilla suit. And yet nearly a decade later, people still believe in that idiocy and are paying money for "souvenirs" and "investigations".

Will there be a Rapture before judgment? I don't know.
Will there be a Rapture during the tribulation? I don't know.
Will there be a Rapture after the tribulation? I don't know.
Will there be a Rapture? I don't know.

What I do know and believe are statements like these:

"Nothing can take you out of my hand" Jesus
"I know the One I have believed, and am convinced that he will keep that which I have committed to Him against that Day"
"The One who started a good work in you will be faithful to complete it"
"I will never leave you or forsake you" Jesus
I do know that I am with Him now, since he is all and in all, that "in Him I live and move and have my being" and that however circumstances go, I will be with him, for "nothing can separate me from the love of God"

What "god"? What "devil"? People keep talking about these things but never produce evidence of them. All they do is regurgitate tenth hand fairy tales like the buybull.

If this "god" thing split the waters between Louisiana and the oil spill under the ocean so oil rig workers could close it, then I would be impressed and believe. After all, splitting water is one of the things claimed as being possible....

As for aliens from other planets (if that's what you meant by UFOs and not Pete Way and Michael Schenker), until proof appears that the Earth isn't the first planet with life, then aliens don't exist.

Yes, we definitely can agree that there are people who are frauds in this arena! That James Arthur Ray is a good example too. You are correct when you say there are a lot of gullible people out there. The thing is, not everyone is a fraud.

I don't think it is fair to generalize about extra sensory experiences. There is so much we are ignorant of when it comes to this amazing universe. I can only know what I know right now, and that can change any minute. There are strange and miraculous things that happen all the time on this plane of existence and they should not be underestimated or dismissed out of hand. JMO
