My Love

My love is like a new flower;
It grows every day.
From a tiny seed,
It opens up;
Tossing aside the soil that surrounds it.

Then stretching upward,
The sprout reaches toward the sun.
Green leaves unfold,
Recieving the warm nourishment.

After some time of drinking heaven's rain,
A stem sublime shoots up;
Forming a bud on top.

Then at last a beautiful flower appears;
In red or white or yellow bright.
Or pink or purple or blue as night.

It spreads it's petals,
Exposing stamen and pollen;
Allowing the bees to help it propulgate.
Producing more flowers,
As lovely as the first.

So everyday after the first blossom dries,
More beauty is found everywhere; growing.
Never ending; like my love.
