i am very involved in my daughters life so i would not move. for a few years at least. but i have had long distance relationships and i dont believe in limiting myself to just my small town. That being said, long distances do pose challenges for a relationship to develop.

As I have written before on this thread, I would sell my house and relocate in order to be with someone. However, I am now fifty years old and my only child is now a young, independent woman, living very independently from me. So - the "world is once again , my oyster". I just have to figure out what to do with it!
However, I understand why you are tied to the place in which you now reside.

Distance is only a measurement, I am currently chatting with someone that lives 5 hours from me, but if all is as siad it was. I would not hestitate to relocate to be with her...
