While self-esteem can be a challenge...you should be proud of who you are. If you want to change, you can, just believe in yourself...but don't hide & certainly do not lie to someone you're trying to impress....because if you want someone to like you for who you are....you have to BE who you are.

I guess only you can answer that. It is possible to get to know someone on a deep personal level before you meet them. It does take much time and effort and lots of communication. I guess if two people really connect and it does not seem to be fading but getting stronger than it is worth the travel to at least see for yourself in person. If anything you should know each other well enough before doing so.
It really depends on the people, there really is no answer to this question. If it's right it's right, but it does take time..

I do have a sense of homor by the way, and the lack of chemistry was well just that, we did not hit it off in person is all, but really the photos she had on the net, were not at all like the actual, if fact i walked right past her at the airport lol.It was a nice trip, but have had better times closer to home !!
I definitely think it's the man's job to travel. If he's interested enough he needs to come and see me and then we will take it from there. Otherwise, long distance is a waste of time.You really didn't answer how far....but then again....

I would travel as far as I needed to go to be with someone I loved.
I have children so I am not too keen on relocating but if I really really loved someone and I knew it was going really well then I would reconsider as long as its within the country.

I never said the man would have to relocate, all I am saying is that I expect he come to me for the initial meeting. I am referring to meeting people online (i.e. someone I have never met before.)
