Tell me if Im crazy or just being a *itch...Crazy fight at the bar last night ...short version...drunk guy trying to walk out the front door to leave acidentally bumps into the bouncer the bouncer throws a punch knocks drunk dude down and repeatedly kicks him in the face. The cops get there and watch it all happen and dont do anything BUT call EMS for the bleeding drunk dude(dudes messed up BAD)... Cops here are first responders they have to do what is with in their capabilities to help a victim and they did LITERALLY NOTHING...

So Im I crazy because it pissed me off so bad Iwent off on the cops or was I just being a *itch????

I think yu were justified in your response. I guess that happened here at a bar down the street. A boucer threw this guy out and he got a head injury and died from it.

Trust me, "going off" on the cops is never a good thing to do.

I agree, but on the same token... officers being careless and/or neglegent isn't the best thing to have either. I want to know that if one is needed that they're not going to watch someone get beat on while they just collect dust. It's part of the oath one takes as a LEO and should be upheld above all else. When that no longer matters or they no longer care about their job, it's time for them to hang up the keys and let another who's willing do it.

I think it was probably not "new" cops, cuz they would still have that mentality, but probably guys that have 'seen it all' and aren't so into it anymore.

Sounds to me Like that dude (the bouncer) souldnt be a bouncer and was there any bad blood between the two? Prior to the accidetal slip and subsequent bump into the bouncer that is? If so it never ceases to amaze me how stupid people can act when on alchohol and around it.
Tell the person if you know him I hope he is ok I know I wouldnt let something like that slide but then again I was raised differnt than most kids. JMO

A Bar That has Bouncers like that usually Dont last.... A good Door Man will talk anybody out the door without haveing to resort to a beating. That Is a good Bouncer! Well I can add that the bouncer was fired and the locals stopped going there and they turneds it into a "college" bar. The kids from DeKalb come over to party at the bar..which is a DUI heaven for the police!!!

you know in canada...since i was a retired door personal...you meaning the door personal has to be very careful when dealing with drunks ,reason is ,when ppl are totally smashed ,they are relaxed (body)and if you use to much force , you can actually hurt someone extremely bad...and even thou you are removing said guest ,at the sametime you must use enough force to remove him or her but and big but if you use to much force and cause him or her pain or even knock him into a coma ,you can be held responsible and be charged and sued...as for police not doing nothng for the said drunk..if that was here in toronto...their would be hell to pay....doh canada
