Steevyv: But, what have those guys from convoy with HAMAS and shelling of Israeli's settlements? What they have with terrorists and terrorism? Where are rockets and other weapon for terrorists that were supposed to be on vessels?
The fact is Steve is that this was a testing ground to see if Hamas could get away with getting ships through the Israeli blockade with the gullibility of most of the activists who were truly hoping to send humanitarian aide to the Gazans. Just because the Israelis didn't find any major weapons being shipped to Gaza on this flotilla doesn't mean that on future flotillas they won't be shipped. If Israel has no right to inspect the cargo very closely, then it is open territory to ship the arms and rockets openly to Gaza without any interference. Hamas will be waiting with open arms for the shipments. When a country's borders are constantly attacked as Israel is, then you cannot blame them for being very proactive. In the international waters, it was not illegal for them to board the vessels which will not stop when approaching a blockade and inspect it. The mistake Israel made was that they should have knocked out the ship's propellers and just towed the ship into Ashdod when the ship wouldn't stop. The incident is quite a tragedy no matter what.
murny: Just like the Israeli Human Rights Activists protesting in Israel and the Jews in America and elsewhere that are speaking up are, I suppose.
There is such a thing as being plain wrong, a so called "progressive" and/or a self-hating Jew. This is why I steered you to Lozowick, he tackles all the Israeli peace activists.
magna1: So I do...but this threads was not about Islam,-secular or spiritual,-rather questioning the some articles in the constitution of Hamas.....And I´m sure you don´t mind people using a textual, exegetic, critical method to read and understand Quran&Hadith....
I understand your point magna1, and my understanding of the American constitution, its supporting documents, I thought you might like to read the following. It will make you think, question.
"I was much an enemy of monarchies before I came to Europe. I am ten thousand times more so since I have seen what they are. There is scarcely an evil known in these countries which may not be traced to their king as its source, nor a good which is not derived from the small fibres of republicanism existing among them." --Thomas Jefferson to George Washington, 1788. What I will say is the Westerners supporting the Islamic innialation of Israel are either innocents abroad or damn idiots.
