Steve5721: I've said it before and still maintain it:

Final Brazil v Argentina

HOWEVER, the Argies will have seen this....ermmmm....'match' and will see the Germans ain't that bad as people think.

Now there's a match! Now that the German U-Boats have blasted their way in, we'll have to wait and see. But then again this world cup isn't quite going to plan all the time.professor

I never even saw the game; forgot about the time difference today!doh

Got the gist of the score line now, and it doesnt surprise me in the slightest. England are embarrasing. They earn huge amounts of money, live the lives of kings, are supposed role models to countless youngsters, and limp through the group, to then be rightfully trounced by a much better team.

Im not surprised at all with the score. Capello needs to go. Although we say that after EVER defeat - blame it on the coaching strategies.

The bottom line is, the players didnt deliver. Shame on them.thumbs down

I quite fancy the idea, but I am not sure they are mature enough. It's a very young team. I have all the respect and admiration for them. applause

And I have to add that the USA team played like England USED to play.

They talk about Americans being full of themselves, etc, but this is a PERFECT example of English players thinking, ONCE AGAIN, that they can breeze through completely on their names, and not their performance.

mumbling
