I think most people will agree with you but not openly for fear of losing the few if any friends they have on here and other sites, for many these forums are the main contact with people for a chat.

I do not think they are a passing thing but I do feel that the amount of people who take them serious are. Kind of like reading your horoscope, entertaining but I am not going to take it serious.
