Yup, Im on the dole and Ive had loads of coffe dates, they dont break the bank.

Take a walk in a nice area, a stroll on the beach, a picnic, even just the cinema rather than an expensive dinner.
I'm unemployed at the moment and coping. In fact, I prefer this because I find getting drinks on a date is usually the wrong way to go.

You certainly can, only recently found work myself and it never stopped me. Dont have to spend a fortune to go out.

Lots of us in similar situations..let go, hours/pay cuts. Can't help thinking it's gonna bring us back to whats important, rather than flashing the cash, spending time with people, learning about them, getting involved in things you wouldn't normally.MimiKate: Exactly, if both are interested enough, sure an icecream on the beach or something, will do nicely.
