Mexico could be a middle place to meet besides the advantages of currency exchange. It could be the "Riviera Maya" and there we have night life, archeological monuments, snorkeling, diving, great food, nature with (the Cenotes amazing)and much more...
There are reasonable priced packages and when done in group it is even better.
