I gave up my Saturday morning sleepin to run around after the kids for saturday morning Sport. But I suppose you get that when you take on a ready made Family.
I gave up a garage space for the kids Bike and excess funiture and Stuff we might need.
I gave up making decisions for me and naturally started making decisions considering her and the kids.
These things though I did both naturally and willingly.
The only thing i did give up that was wrong of me to do was i gave up my Golf. It didn't work due to the time it consumed, and the cost of membership. But it became a festering sore after a couple of years. I had got rid of the one thing that was me. The one thing they gave me me time. After some blistering rows it was agreed that i take up golf again. And it did work. Yes our Budget was tight. No i didn't play every weekend. But I worked in a game around family commitments and work.
