my first car I owned myself was a hatchback toyota corolla
all our family owned it at one point it was passed from me
on to my sisters and then to our cousins .
I was 21 aswell
Never had any problems with it toyota corollas are a great car
the first vehicle I was insured on was my dads
toyota dyna its like a fishtank on wheels
but had some great memories in that van.

Started with a Morris Minor at 13... Grew up in the counrtyside so were given cars to drive in a field.. What great fun the early eighties were...... When that perished we were given a Triumph Dolomite... which we cut the roof off with an angle grinder..... Homemade convertible...

I took dtiving lessons instead of doing a marriage guidance course, and blamed my husband-to-be when the prisst asked us why we couldnt do it....That was 30 years ago and my first car was a Fiat 128.... I loved that car.......but sadly its now in the garage in heaven...
