Planning to take a couple of weeks in the end of September and go somewhere southward… Haven’t decided the destination yet, but am thinking about Turkey, while she isn’t in EU the prices ought to be slightly lower there, oughtn’t they? My main demand is a possibility to sunbath and swim in water without jelly-fish at a human price… Am I too easy to please?
Jelly-fish were the big disappointment of this summer… You come to the sea after the whole day of work, tired, sweaty, full of anticipation… and cannot enter water because of these awful creatures. It was fine when I could come there with a car, but few last times I went there by collective traffic – you have to change busses, 3 different busses to come there, and the same to come home, rather tiresome in the long run. And now it’s raining and feels like summer is over…
Not sure though whether I do right by telling about my plans. I’ve noticed that they tend not to happen if I talk about them too much. But people at work keep asking (don’t think that they are that interested, just trying to be polite, I guess, showing that they, kind of, care…), and it’s not always possible to shrug the question off, sometimes I have to say something…
(A short trip to Norway was planned in the end of June, but it never happened… Have I talked it away?)
Was hoping to have a few days in Sicily but a good paying job has just fallen through, so unlikely unfortunately. If I do manage it, any advice on good places to visit/stay other than Syracuse?

from tomorrow I am going to attempt to travel the length of Italy from Piacenza to Palermo by train ... using only local services .. I dont know if it's possible and it's certainly a challenge but it should give me something to talk about during the million winter nights between the end of summer and next June

Getting laid is not exactly my goal-if it was,and I was the 1 night stand sort-I'd have no problem,getting laid.
I'd rather spend my time with people who stimulate me mentally-wouldn't you?If I find a nice guy amongst these mentally stimulating folk,who wants a serious relationship,well,I'd start dating.
