There was a Yummy Mummies one a couple of years ago in aid of Crumlin Hospital.

There is a very good answer why you missed parts of the film and it is to do with how our film classification operates both here and in the UK.

Films are presented for show here as a complete work and classified accordingly. In the UK, upon viewing the film the Classification office "suggests" parts that they can edit out in order to obtain as wide an audience as possible. This also applies for their DVD releases, which will get similar cuts and edits.

However, because Ireland is such a small market for DVD's it's very costly to press a small amount of DVD's with the "Irish" version so we get the UK version in the shops complete with their film classification. What you saw on the telly last night was what you would have seen in the cinema in all it's glory while the DVD you bought had bits taken out for the sensitive UK audience angel
