my mate started his own gym in town has his own equipment and is doing one on one coaching I went over to do the physical so he could check my heart rate and so on and did a half hour workout he took notes on everything calories burned miles ran or cycled and crunches .
I find when I go to the gym Im not as motivated as I should be and my mate only gave me short breaks between excersises for me I think this is definetley the way to get rresult as I need someone pushing me on .
He only charges me 5 euro an hour and my local gym is 10 euroS only difference is no jacuzzi or steam room .
but for one on one coaching at 5 euros an hour cant really go wrong have signed up and will be going once or twice a week .
I want to firm up get rid of my beer gut get a nice 6 pack and broaden my shoulders and chest .
Im not looking for macho muscle a**hole guy look just a healthier look than what I got .
im going aobut 5 times a week... tonight was my first nite back since thurs.. and i started my new workout plan.. much much tougher than the last one and i felt the burn tonight..
half hour cardio.. 45 mins doin resistance training.. should start seeing results soon..

No but i have started walking every night after work now , killed me at first but getting easier now!! also doing the new vibro max , shaking the living daylights outta me , just need to cut out me junk food now and then i'll be on the ball !!
I did about 4 or 5 years ago but stopped. I have put on major weight, but find the Gym incredibly boring. I heard lately that there is a Thai Kickboxing Gym in Cork. I might try that.

Ah I love walking myself 5 hours walk usually does it for me then a long soak in the bath afterwards
The road is my gym and it cost's me nothing but a decent pair of runners.....I like to feel like I'm getting some fresh air when I jog/walk and its even nicer of an evening when its raining .... ya really feel refreshed when you come home

As for motivation, I dunno I'm weird, when I got to the gym, the second I start pumping the iron I get motivated, big release of energy so it is, like a drug and I won't be happy unless I give 110%
Nope, I'm a pudger and a happy one. I do however like getting some fresh air and sunshine but I don't over exert myself. Thank God above for Spanx, help the ole belly flab a bit.
