My experience has been great. I've made a lot of fabulous friends, and I've also met the man I want to and am going to spend the rest of my life with. So I may be a little biased, but as long as you keep an open mind and be honest with yourself and others...Anything can happen.

If you have the understanding that it's a tool to help find relationships that come in all forms. It doesn't mean you'll find your partner here, but you very well could. I've seen some that have and I am so happy for them! (Serenity for example)

i have met some of my best friends on here....but i have been heart broken twice......not going in to the details...if it wasnt for cs,i wouldnt of met the coolest people i know.they know who they are and i love them with all my heart

It can basically have the same results as meeting someone the old fashioned way. People are people, it is just a different mode of meeting them. Just use good judgement. You really can meet some spefcial people who can become lifelong friends and when you are lonely there is always a friend or support if you need.

First of all welcome to CS!!
When I first joined up I was looking but had huge doubts I would find that special person. I was wrong. Within a few weeks I had met the man of my dreams and now we are planning a wonderful future with each other. Yes we are getting married this year. I am sure you will meet wonderful people here. There are alot of them and alot of nutcases but they can be wonderful too. Good luck in your search and I wish you the happiness I have with my sweetheart.Yes I did meet him here and if you run across Daniel4021 that's who a i am talking about.
