saoirse65: Hello there Neighbour lol
Yeah Donegal is fantastic, I get to have those views on a daily basis also.
I often take wrong turns and keep going just for the hell of it, I almost always have a camera with me and some of the scenery is just breath taking. I love just having the time to get out of the car and enjoy it without rushing.

hey you having been on here in a while. how you doinghug

kielybear: Just got back from the Wesport music festival, only stayed the one night and had a great time.So i woke up this morning in a friends house in Castelbar,i got up had breakfast and got back on the road.I took a wrong turn and basically found myself driving up a mountain,so i decided to keep driving to the top.I got to the top, stepped out of the car,i was just blown away by how beautiful the surrounding area was,i thought to myself then and there,"jesus, its been ages since i felt like this",i was simply awestruck.

I guess the point of this thread is that,no matter what kind of emotional state you are in or even when we think of what a terrible mess the country is in,we all need to be so grateful that in our own backyard, just a drive away,is some of the most beautiful scenery in the world and the best part of all,its free.

When was the last time,if ever, you felt the same as i did today?
