If honesty hurts them, were they ever really your friend? A friend is the very person you should expect the truth from, good,bad or indifferent.A real friend will always be there for you and will be honest when it matters....JMO

I agree DF. Besides what one says is usually an opinion. It is about what you feel and not necessarily what they want to hear. They may not believe your opinion to be true.
