In that case, some of us don't exactly have the best flirting skills on the planet, so I always kinda knew I'd end up on someting like this.
As far as beeing still stuck here and single, there isn't exactly an abundance of women in my area, and those that are here, they're looking for a big wallet, big car, and George Clooney looks.

If this is just a "crap, how did I end up at this level" thread, you've actually got plenty of sympathy here.
A lot of people here have either exhausted "regular" options like going to pubs/clubs, or for some reason can't/don't do that.
You're not alone.

What prompted you to sign up? There had to be an attractive element. There are loads of really nice people here, not cos they feel desperate but because they are adventurous and have little time outside of work.

Its just i think everyone has had time to BOND so when i post as a newbie ..its always passed over like skipped and who ever posted before and after tis always listened too...Ah maybe im paronid but im sure many feel the same way :-)

Everyone is here for a laugh, it can get pretty derious sometimes but if thats not your thing just have a look at the endless fun threads and bump them up

Yes, it feels like that but its not as clannish as it appears. Yes some like an insular element based on their own comfort levels, but most are very open to chatting with new members. You will enjoy the experience. The very best of luck. 
Personally I'd prefer to meet people offline myself but I find us Irish can be a tad cliquey at times. It can be very hard to strike up a conversation with someone in public because it's just not how we seem to do things. Girls automatically get suspicious of guys appproaching them.
Since I don't drink the whole pub and club thing is kind of off limits for me too. Again though, the cliquey thing comes into play. I'm not awkward, ugly or sad by any means either. I do see where you're coming from though.
