.. Welcome to the EU Forums Sasi.You will get LOTS of advice here, but you also need to get active, right where you are.
Go out and have a coffee at a restaurant, or go do your laundry ... and say "Hello" to everybody .... be friendly and chatty ... doesnt matter if you dont speak the language ..... These people here in Europe like to speak to people if you are friendly and look like you are trying to make friends.
Here in Switzerland it took me a long time to find that it is considered rude to go sit at a table by oneself in a restaurant! You gotta go sit at a table with other people .... and then that is how you begin to learn the language.
