Hey thats horrid
happened to me last year but a garage got it sorted for me the very next day, turned out not to be the brakes but the vacumn thingy behind the break pedal. which basically stopped the break functioning. Would be horrid to miss Westport its such a great place - ring a garage in the morning you might still get away

Glad you are alright its terrible to think what ifs

Thanks it was scary at the time, after today's near miss, I don't mind missing the weekend, and 4 of the girls had pulled out already including the birthday girl. So was ending up quite expensive with only 2 of us still looking to go. That's fate 4 you. I am looking at it as a postponed trip rather than a cancelled trip, and looking on the bright side I am still owed a weekend away, with baby sitter on stand by laugh

Tis more liberal and free thinking in the East. The Wescht tend to be more traditional and repressive.
