When people ask "how are you doing?"
They don't really want to know.
How often have you been strolling along, bump into someone you know and ask "How are you doing?"
Then spend the next 45 minutes listening in detail about how they are really doing.
Doesn't happen often, because we know that when someone asks "How are you doing" They only want the short story, the in a nutshell.
Preferrably the answer and follow-up of "Fine, and how are you doing?"
Which the polite thing is for them to answer "Oh just fine."
If no-one's looking at their watched, or checking their cells phones. Then it's seemingly alright to answer with more then just fine.
Then it's the short life story "Oh, I'm okay, been a little under the weather, but you know how that is, busy life ha ha."
Which the response is, "Oh so sorry to hear that you've been ill, yes I had a cold recently, wasn't fun let me tell you."
Then the basics are complete and the two can go about their merry way.
Secure in the knowledge that they have effectivly 'touched base'.

So when you ask "How everyone is doing."
Are you really just opening the basic lines, or do you really want to know?

Anyway.
I'm fine, how are you doing?

I just may be biased.. but Canada it great.
We're alot like americans, but with less guns.

As for living, the choices are many. You like mountains, grasslands, deserts, hills, forests? Alberta's got that.
You like city-life, architecture, varied peoples, out east in Ontario has that.

Oceans?
On on eachside, what's your preferance cold or really cold? laugh

Hmmm..being from Alaska, I would say Alaska but I have lived all over the west coast and found it cool and great and fabulous! Just guess it would depend on what your friends prefer.
