Some Indians laugh about British Indian restaurants, because a lot of them are owned by Bangladeshis and in India there are many jokes about how bad Bangladeshi cooking is. They also put a lot of hot chillis in - for a quieter type of food (I have an allergic reaction to jalapeños and scotch bonnets) try Kashmiri cooking - it can be very very spicy - but without the Ralgex Vindaloo heat.

I ate a gorgeous bean dish at my Hindi friend's house once. The sause the colour of the darkest red rose. It was simply divine.
The nexxxttt day i nearly exploded.
Will just cherish the memory...

I've to confess, I think I never ate Indian food
but I could bet I would like it
as I love spicy and hot dishes too, yummy yummy
but not once I could remember any Indian restaurant here around my area
every corner Chinese or Thai stuff, I don't need really, accept of very few things
but Indian
would like to try though
