Aside from obvious signals in the real world which are much easier to spot, I would have to say those who seem to be here 24/7 are on the rocky road to insanity.
CS or any dating site is just, or should be, only a diversion on a boring evening, or to keep in contact with friends made...I mean real friends who know a little about about you other than what they read on the forums, but to some it is life itself, and that´s worrying.
I give or pay little heed to advice, well meaning or otherwise from people here, for goodness sake, if they were so all knowing or so experienced in life and the problems we all encounter they would not be here surely?
All I read here generally are well worn platitudes, and I would much rather discuss any problem I may have with my friends or family offline.

Times are so tough over here on the mainland that no one can afford to go out anymore. Hence...CS

Thankfully it´s still cheap enough to go out from to time here in Spain in spite of the economic crisis!

Can't tell all the reasons but this one i do know. there are times when you talk your problem over with someone you thought you could trust and it becomes a suss but if i tell you, there's nobody you will tell that knows me and you can't use it against me either cause you don't know me. and i feel fomfortable to be here asking you if alligators have teeth and don't care if you think i'm stupid.But that doesn´t address my comment as to why people choose to pour their hearts out here, embarrassingly so at times, to virtual strangers than to their real friends or family.
