Well what do you think of them and do you use one?
I have one and I would say you have to know when to pull the plug!
But it can be a good way of seeing someone your talking to, to gain an extra dimension into what they really look like and would never meet any guy again who I had not chatted with through the web cam.

I'm very nervous about webcam chats as I feel so self-consious about it. To answer the OP though, it is definately a good idea to have a cam chat, especially if you're planning to meet someone.
Hi Med . A little caution about extras that allow you to have voice or visual contact with the outside world . Make sure that you have a reputable anti virus + firewall in place before you connect a Mic or a Cam to your PC . It is possible to turn this extras on without you being aware . Using the same stuff on your home phone used to be the norm . Now things have taken a turning for the worse . Make sure that they have a mechanical off switch .
