Girls have a huge advantage on dating sites (actually they have a huge advantage full stop). Because the ladies can pick & choose they can develop a habit of just not replying. To a nice guy this seems rude & a bit hurtful but to the girl it's just a bit of craic.
The best profile is a totally honest one & I suspect that these may be rather rare. You may be a really nice guy but profiles are a bit like a CV or application form in that it can be really hard to convey the real you.
However Girls, getting lots of unwanted messages does not excuse bad manners. Most of you want your man to act like a Gentleman & treat you with respect so lead by example & reply to all pleasant messages even if it's only to say thanks but no thanks......please !

i generally agree with you and replied to all messages/flowers received in the beginning-Unfortunately,there are rude men out there,also, who got 'thick' when a polite 'thanks,no thanks' was sent..so i stopped answering to all mails..what do you do?this happened to me on my second day on this site and i was very upset.Should one answer all(unwanted) mails and then 'block them' so one doesnt get a nasty response? we are here to meet people and we are adults-can we not 'assume' the other person is not interested if there is no reply?and,i have not received replies to all my mails-that's life..i agree that the forum might be a good way to 'chat' to people.so,yes everyone should try and respond to everyone but you are not going to do that if you've had bad experience of doing so? good luck,guys,keep mailing!!
