Neeners did it whilst she was in Canada and couldn't wait to get reply ... there is something amazing about receiving a letter ......

I like writing letters but have got out of the habit recently - I used to send a lot of cards too. I have a Parker fountain especially for letter writing and I'd love a Mont Blanc pen but I have never quite had the nerve to spend that much on a pen.
I agree - letters are great but have not had one for ages, my mum used to write now and again but once she got a mobile that was the end of it . Only bills for me.

I know I posted this on another thread - but its been great so I'll mention it again here - I used to have a few penpals when I was younger - was so much fun writing to them and then waiting for the reply - and this was WELL before mobiles and email! So it was aul fashioned snail mail to wait for! And recently had a bit of time on my hands and my thoughts drifted back to that area of time and got googling and found interpals dot net - its a really fab site - quite like facebook so its easy to use and you can just be email buddies on there (has an inbox just like facebook) or you can go the traditional snail mail route - have been on it a few weeks and am now snail mailing with two lovely ladies my age - one in Italy and the other in Finland - its been so much fun! Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys that sort of thing!

I have certainly got out of the habit of letter writing but I write emails as if they were letters, in that I use proper English.

I have also noticed that my handwriting has become dreadful due to lack of practice.

I suspect that we are losing the art of expressing emotions via the written word.

Go on ebay but beware of fakes. If you would love something & it is going to give you a lifetime of pleasure then spoil yourself or get one of the men here to buy you one wink

Any fella that is planning to date Sally will know what to buy her for Christmas !.

OK it's a deal. What size of Meisterstuck do you prefer ?

I think that this one would suit you

There is one downside in that you will have a constant reminder of me long after you ditch me grin

How can men find it so hard to buy the right present when women are always mentioning things they like ?.
