I have worked with Diarmuid before he was so famous. The tantrums were epic & I hear that they still are. He so nearly threw the toys out of the pram at Chelsea.
What viewers don't see is that many of the designer gardening program clients end up unhappy. In one program Diarmuid "installed" a huge stainless steel wall at the end of the garden with water flowing down it.
He omitted to point out, despite expert opinion, that it would rust. The client paid thousands for the "wall" & nearly as much again to have it removed !.
