Swissblueeyes: Hi..I've been cooking since I was 13 years old..Took home economics for 6 years during school too..Cooking can be fun and is a nice way to bond with friends and family too..Thank you for sharing..
Thou art welcome, m'lady. Cooking since 13? WOW, you could probably show me a thing or two.
Wow_Factor: Why do men have to create so much dirty crockery etc when cooking, leaving the kitchen in such a mess for the woman to clean-up as a thank-you because the man worked so hard at cooking. Sort of ruins the atmosphere a bit.
I live alone so if I don't pick up my cooking mess, who do you think will do it, the fairy god-mother?
rohaan: Six years of Home Ec!! The most offered in my high school days was three or four terms, then maybe an advanced class. It was always an elective. Now, because of budget cuts, some schools have dropped it altogether. (I took a course called "Bachelors Survival" in HS--the guy equivalent. It was great, I learned tons of household stuff that still comes in handy. Gotta run--see ya!)
wow really? i had 3 years of home economics in middle school and 3 years of home economics in high school..after that for 20 years it was self taught with cook books and cooking literature..
