A high born lady at the party told Sir Winston: "That is positively dreadful, had I been your wife, I would have put poison in your tea"! Churchill replied stoically, "Madam, had you been my wife, I would have gladly drank it."

I find there are not enough women essential thinkers of philosophy quoted.
