..both profiles are in effect the same person....and both have now been deleted by mods....

...this is not the first....nor probably will it be the last time.....of such episodes......and from the same person....

...this has been going on for a couple of years now....ever since I was on here....same man...always thrown out....but he is quite intelligent and knows how to maneuver well on cyber space...

....just his little warped mind that makes him wanna show off all the time...how intelligent he is and how stupid everybody else is....and when ignored...throws a tantrum that normally gets nasty and very personal....has caused a lot of hurt feelings in the past....so best to just ignore....

...this being an open and free site makes it virtually impossible to control all those who put on a profile.....

...keep in mind that sites like this can only achieve an income via advertising if they have loads of users...so the more the merrier kind of....

...there are however manners by which users can report abusive material that is being posted....each post has a small 'report this post' at the bottom......and each thread has a sentence underneath with the same scope....

...they don't immediately react to such reports.....however one has to be careful on here....this is an international site and yes...beyond any shadow of a doubt...loads of fakes mixed in with the real ones too....

...just a matter of keeping ones eyes open...and enjoy the rest....ignoring that which does not sound or feel right....

Dagosto: I think the suggestion was that whenever another pic supplants that one in first place, the aforementioned visit the newcomer and give it poor marks to reduce its status.

This could be so. Consider the relatively few number of votes for that first-place pic and the great number of votes given to the runners-up. I believe a minimum of 30 votes is required for eligibility.
Yes, and if you look on the lists for Top-ratings by state or country, there are women with more than 30 votes, and rated higher than D--------, which should automatically be in front...

Also, the 1st 8 months I was here, the last page of the top-rated women had ratings of 8.40. You had to have at least 8.40 to be on that list. I saw it go to it's lowest yesterday... 8.01.

Anyway, you can check back & see what I mean whenever you happen to sign in here. Sometimes when you look at the ratings, there will be women with 9s & 8.7, or 8.6, or whatever... but then watch those ratings slowly go down, while D------- stays in place.

The name matching with MrRs posts, and the way that photo stays while the others get knocked down daily... could be a coincidence. In my OP, I don't think so.

I see. Well, there could be a simpler explanation, and that is that it is not very difficult to send automated requests, (or votes), to this site if you know just a bit of programming.
A few days ago there was a poll that received 3000+ votes in just 3 hours, and it wasn't even an interesting one. laugh

Yes, I think this is a great site compared to 98% of what's available. And it has a huge "real" & "currently active" membership base. On other sites, a large membership means loads of scam profiles as well as long-abandoned real profiles(padding the membership) to attract more members & ad dollars.

Well, that sounds much easier to do than creating loads of profiles in order to keep a particular photo at the top, while knocking down the rest... tho not for me. I'm fairly computer illiterate laugh .

Ditto to that! wine

It is/was obvious.

What does surprise me --

how fixated some CSers get on petty stuff.

There is definitely a group of people around these boards who find communicating with lunatic(s) very exciting, maybe the most exciting thing in their life.

Putting up threads about him -- tops it all.

Perhaps the show you're thinking of is Forensic Files? (Real cases, not fiction). If you have cable it's on tonight, at 11:00 PM your time, on TruTV.

If you'd been here a few hours ago, you'd seen all kinds of new Topics posted b/c of this person...
MODS... YOU NEED TO DO SOMETHING, MODS, ITS TIME HAPPY_WEALTHY GOES, ARE THE MODS ASLEEP...

For 2-3 hrs. he filled forums with 2 & 3 pages of nothing but a set of 2 words, copied & pasted all over the place, 2 nights ago, the main Forum button wouldn't work, and he managed to post a quote as if it was Serpenta Manon's that was filthy... she was very upset at how he managed to do that, even tho by that point, everyone knew H_W was ... well, whatever.

And if you're referring to scammers, even if you don't care about people who are hurt by them, you should care about the money they rake in... part of that money is funneled to terrorism.

Google it & you'll find that is 100% true. petty...such a pity...not

LOL... actually I was referring to a show I think you mentioned on another thread(tho it may have been someone else). Whoever it was, said it was their favorite show.

What surprises me is people who add pages to threads they judge to not be worthy of being posted, therefore continuing them far longer than they would have gone on.
And all those extra pages are filled with non-useful info, w/the exception of the occasional poster who comes in the middle of all of it, and posts something that has to do with the actual subject of the thread.

I don't know which way you're using the word excited, but it it wasn't fun. She hated those vile words appearing to be quoted by her.

SCatlyn: You seem to have a mean streak & a warped sense of humor. Though I couldn't begin to judge you by your posts alone... even though you think you can judge by the little amounts of insight into a person that you might catch a small glimpse of on here.

Guess just continue w/your LMAOs(but I wouldn't call it a grand event... it's not. And it's not a bit funny.)

LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!

I was posting strictly on this thread topic -- and I was judging you. confused

You announce that I "have a mean streak & a warped sense of humor", yet insist that you "couldn't begin to judge me by my posts alone."

Can't argue with your logic, hence I am out of this *CS forums saver* thread.

Carry on.

Enjoy!!

In this thread I would be referring to your first few posts.
Off the top of my head, I would then refer to the numerous scammer topics, that then get postings by the page that are all about how paranoid, etc. people are about scammers.

The OPs of most of those threads don't realize they were dealing w/one. At least what they post about a particular incident that happened to them, may get read by a newcomer & give them a heads-up. All the pages criticizing the OP for doing so don't give anything useful to anyone.
