Well Im not sure that I completely agree with you. I dont think that 45 is considered old by most men who are around that age bracket say 42 onwards. Most guys do seem to want to date within their age range a few years younger or older, thats been my experience anyway. Of course if they can snaffle a wee bit of 'eye candy' 10 years younger, they will, and why not I say.

In saying that, I've found that alot of men around my age range 47 are O L D. They may think they are not, but they are ... they seem to have very fixed notions on things, little or no understanding of the responsibilities of a single parent, are unable to 'let their hair down' and muck around, or always complaining about their dicky knees, ticker, shoulder, whatever the dicky item is.

I think we just have to keep sifting - looking for that person who is our match - for me its the fella who likes to sit and watch the waves and enjoy the sunset, run up and down the beach having a water kicking fight, and just laugh. grin

the recuperative powers of a rodent are a huge plus too laugh

Compatibility is IT, I mean lets be honest here, regardless of someones age, no one wants to be caught up with someone they have major issues with. Thats just common sense.

In saying that age is important. Consider the older woman who falls for a younger man. Sure age isnt an issue until he wants kids doh then age can be a major issue. Adoption may not be an option if the woman is over certain age limits.

I guess that it all boils down to what one wants ...

but in the mean time, its always fun to sample the menu grin

your profile says your 51, has this been bothering you for 6 years???. you need to speak up a little earlier perhaps, so the team can get down and consider all the possible answers to your querie, before you go nuts wondering, what on earth is wrong with me??

Well my dear, I consider you quite young actually. It is all a question of perspective - where you are in relation to what you are looking at. For me there is another factor that would rule you out for me. You have red hair - so did my first wife lol. - Oh and i prefer small in the chest area lol. So perspective and personal taste/ preferrence governs most people's choices
